Description
Since its founding in 2018, Massena LAB has been creating some breathtakingly beautiful pieces — which shouldn’t come as a surprise given founder William Massena’s long and storied history in the watch space. The latest is the Massena LAB X Revolution Uni-Racer 1949, a 39mm steel chronograph that serves as. a tribute to a spectacular Patek Philippe chronograph, the ref.130, which features a black lacquered sector dial with luminous Roman numerals and batons.
Our tribute to this legendary, and likely unique, reference is a 39mm by 9mm tall steel-cased watch, with a glossy black dial boasting a familiar sector layout right down to the luminous sector track. Of course, there are plenty of other vintage references, like the sporty pump pushers and the domed plexi-crystal, with anti-scratch treatment and gorgeously blued hands. The watch is powered by a high-grade manually-wound Sellita SW 510 caliber, and a simple black deerskin strap finishes the look off perfectly. This special tribute to an iconic chronograph is limited to 120 pieces.
